I'm Chelsea, a 25 year old lover of coffee, hiking, and art. I was born and raised in Metro Detroit or more specifically, Fraser, MI. I am a photographer by day, masters student by night, and in my free time you can find me planning trips, watching Netflix with the husband, spending time with my family and friends, and using the occasional moment to myself to make art. 

 

I began this journey when I was fourteen and I signed up for my first film photography course. During my high school career I took a total of six photography classes - three film and three digital. It only took one roll of film for me to decide I was in this for life. I went on to double major in photography and psychology at Central Michigan University and had my first paying client in 2010. In 2012, a wonderful human being decided to take a chance on me and hired me to shoot my first solo wedding. Let me tell you - I have never felt as nauseous as I did that morning or as relieved as I did that night.

 

The nerves may be gone but one thing hasn't changed - I care just as much. I want your pictures to be something you love and look back at for years to come. I want you to see how beautiful you are, to remember your kids quirky expressions long after their grown, and to feel the love in your photos.
