FAQ
What services do you offer?
I am an on-location portrait photographer who specializes in weddings, engagements, maternity sessions, senior portraits, family portraits, cake smash sessions, milestone sessions, and creative portraits. I do not offer studio sessions or event coverage.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes! I love to travel. The more travel the better.
How do I pay?
I accept checks, cash, and online credit card payments! Checks can be made payable to Chelsea Council.
When do I pay?
I require a non-refundable deposit to save your wedding date. The remaining sum must be paid three weeks before your big day. You can absolutely make payments ahead of time if you want to check that off of your to-do list! For standard shoots I require that you pay on or before the date of your shoot.
When can I expect my pictures?
This can vary a little depending on the length of the shoot and even the time of year. Its typically about 30 days for standard shoots and eight weeks for weddings. But don't worry! I won't make you wait that long to see a preview of your pictures. I know your excited, and I am too! I usually send over a couple shots within 48 hours.
Will all our pictures be edited?
Yes! All your pictures are returned to you edited. I shoot in a RAW format which allows me to control the editing process and provide the final product that you expect! Are you worried about some annoying acne that popped up the day before your shoot? Don't be! I take requests for simple touch ups such as blemish removal, with no additional cost to you.
Where will we shoot?
Wherever you like! I am willing to come to your home, a park, or any location that is special to you and your loved ones. If you don’t have a particular location in mind, we will talk about your vision and I will give you a few options! I do want to emphasize that I am an on-location photographer and do not work out of studio.
Can I bring my pet?
Absolutely! Please do! Tip: it usually helps to bring a friend to care for your pet when we're taking pictures without them. Disclaimer: Bringing a puppy may result in over-enthusiasm from your photographer.
What should I wear?
Something that makes you feel comfortable and stylish but most importantly - like you! I have put together a styling guide to give you tips and tricks that will help you look and feel your best during your shoot. You will gain access to this guide when you book a shoot.
Will there be a second shooter?
I have a wonderful network of fellow photographers who would love to second shoot for your wedding!
How soon should I book my shoot?
As soon as you can! I won't book standard shoots more than a few months ahead of time. However, the longer you wait, the more likely it is that I will already be booked. You can book your wedding anytime within two years of the date.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Prints are not included in my packages but that doesn't mean you can't get them! All you have to do is tell me what sizes you want and I will give you a custom quote. This way you can order exactly what you want and don't have to pay for extras. If you choose not to order prints from me, that's okay! You will receive a print release so that you can have your pictures printed elsewhere. And to ensure you receive prints of the highest quality, I will provide you with a list of print labs that I personally love to work with.
